More members arrive today, some climbing, some walking.

This is C, the only person who was able to follow Mick up the route, although not without a lot of grunting and a fair bit of swearing.  It was a Hard Severe and well within Mick's usual grade but he didn't find it very easy.  I was belaying and was a bit concerned when the ropes didn't move for a while... he was temporarily stopped in his tracks, but then was past the difficulties and finished it.

Richard went up next, but halfway up the route had to admit that he couldn't do it and was lowered down. By this time I was completely put off attempting it, with what I'd heard from Richard, but mostly by my troublesome left wrist not being very good.  So C put my harness on - somehow she'd forgotten hers - and climbed it.  Well done to her!
