Hot work

Not the best day for yard work, but someone's got to do it! Using the hot dry spell to finish the drive. Sweeping sand into the cleaned up (south facing) paving. It was good to get it done.

I could feel myself burning in the hot sun, so changed into long sleeves and trousers. Then the neck was getting worryingly hot, so ended up putting a bit of a terry cloth under the back of my hat, French foreign legion style! A good look, I think you'll agree. Sadly my teenage daughters were out, they'd have been properly mortified!
