To the lake we went...

After a very late night, (one where the sun was coming up as I was heading to bed) it was still a full on day of summer fun to be had! There was coffee and pancakes in the garden, then off to watch the Staveley Carnival with bouncy castles to bounce on, a very tired son to collect from an end of exam party and THEN to the lake for these two to go to kayaking! The summer jackpot was won - sunny in the Lake District and on a weekend!
