Little Rodent Face...
Backblip
But not a rodent, it's actually Lexi being given a dog treat for being so well behaved and cute.
Ele and Kenny stayed over and the plan was we would all go to Broadslap for lunch but poor Ashleigh had terrible morning sickness and didn't make it in to work, so we had bacon rolls and coffee here instead. It was a lovely morning so it was very pleasant in the garden room, so we didn't feel we'd missed out too much.
My nephew Andrew texted to say him and Nikki (and Lexi) were in Perth and if it was ok with us, they would pop in. Always delighted to see them and Andrew had brought his swimming stuff as Ele had told him Alan was going in the pool.
Today was the first trial of the new shower/pool chair that was delivered last week for us to try with Alan. We were hoping it would be easier to get him hoisted in and out of the pool whist sitting on this, rather than by hoist sling. Much to our relief it worked!
After a bit of a false start (we tried Alan with one rubber ring instead of two but it wasn't any good) Alan got the second ring on and had a great time. The swan (see extra) also proved very popular (a gift from Withers and DDLC when they visited last weekend :-)
While they all turned into prunes in the pool, Nikki and I chatted and kept an eye on Lexi (it was so warm) She is such a sweet dog. All she wants is cuddles. I was happy to oblige.
Once everyone was out the pool I made dinner and they all headed home exhausted, and we headed to bed, exhausted.
Another lovely day :-)
