We toddled down to the local recreation ground earlier to show our support for the "Help for Heroes" day.

The line up here had just been on the stage doing their speeches.

I had no idea we had a Town Crier until today.

Lovely to see the Chelsea Pensioners there. Although, the CP at the back was more interested in the beer tent... he was over there like a shot once the speeches were over.

My sniffles seem to be on the way out - hoorah. The wondrous healing properties of whiskey!
