Loading

The weather was rather wild and a bit wet, so I decided against going up to the allotment and just scurried along to Ocean Terminal for some supplies. I popped out onto the viewing deck but found rain was blowing into the camera so didn't hang about. The ship is the BBS Star from the Netherlands - it looks like loading is still going on but it already seems fairly low in the water compared to this on the ship-tracking site.

Gosh, I just noticed that there's a glimpse of the Forth Bridge here, to the right of the flats.

Sad news from the other side of the world; I hear that cousin Richard passed away yesterday. Such a short time...
