International summer dining

First of all today I learnt about the role of curator at the Royal Society of Edinburgh. Then I met my Brazilian colleague Renato off the tram from the airport to host his day on campus with us. I walked him back to the tram again with a couple of detours for sight-seeing five hours later. (He's spending the rest of the week at Loughborough University.)

When I came home I found that our next visitor had arrived and was already planning an evening of partying with Mr hazelh. We started with a barbecue, beer, wine and limoncello, then Catan (which I won because I was not drunk am unstoppable!)

Exercise today: sit-ups, weights and stretches; walking (16,395 steps).
