Introductions
Today has been a bit quieter, thank goodness.
I got a lot done, but no rushing around. (Hint to self - remember that vital distinction between activity and achievement).
I bought a new printer last week and took the plunge today to get it set up for the PC and MacBook. Amazingly, no problems... So, it got Blipped. Achievement with minimal activity. Well done HP.
It was also a day of earworms. This was caused by learning someone I know slightly (Scottish journalist) appeared on Radio Vietnam this morning. Cue revisiting lots of Good Morning Vietnam clips. Cue 60s music.

Did you know there's a real Adrian Cronauer, and the character is modelled on him?
Did you know all flights from Anywhere to Anywhere Else in Southeast Asia fly over Da Nang?
Did you know departures at the old Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City was my worst ever airport experience?
Did you know "Iain" is the most popular first name in Vietnam? They spell it "Nguyen". I caused confusion everywhere when I was introduced.
Did you know that in the old days the only beer available in Vietnam was a state produced brand - 333. In Vietnamese 333 is bah bah bah. In our case there were 3 of us all drinking beer on our first night. So, the order was bah, bah bah bah.
As you can imagine, after several tins of 333 things got a bit out of hand...
The finale was a cylo race at midnight with the drivers as passengers and us pedaling. My driver was a surgeon who'd been "re-educated".
Goodnight, all.
