The Shortest Day

Thought I may as well load my blip early - I took this from my door early this morning, and I'm not budging outside to look for anything else  - the shortest day gave us a magnificent show off of a sunrise, then it was all down hill from there.  The colours were too strong for my taste so have taken the saturation back a bit - it even turned the paddocks to red.

We had a shower during the night, then a frost (ice everywhere), then this sunrise followed by cloud cover, bleak, miserable - a friend texted me just now and said it was only 4 deg.....believable !  Fire has been cranking.

On the bright side, its onwards and upwards to summer now, yipeeeee !!!
