Forest Path

Mary Jo and I went out this evening to look for owls in the forest, with helpful directions from ArtistAnnie.  I think the owls knew what we were doing because they were nowhere to be found.  We had the same experience at Scudder's Pond looking for the beaver and resident turtles.  We had a good time walking through the forest though, hoping that the bear rumored to be in the area wasn't going to pop up from behind a tree.  Mary Jo and I always seem to have fun no matter what else is happening.  We may not have seen an owl or anything else, but we now have a plan for what to do if we meet a bear.
