On the other side of GreenLane Road West from the GreenLane Clinical Centre (once it was a hospital; now it houses outpatient services for the DHB) is Alexandra Park. The Auckland Trotting Club held races there for many years. Now construction is underway to produce "an urban village". Apartments, commercial, retail, hotel are all "94% sold".
