June Photo - Day 21 - Summer

I always now that true summer has arrived when there are open blooms on the hibiscus plant from Miss Edna and bumblebees are having the time of their lives amongst them.

For some reason I can always count on my Miss Edna Hibiscus to have its blooms begin to open right around the time of the summer solstice.  The first blooms opened 2 days ago.

It's not as hot today (Yay!) but it's another day we've started off with thunderstorms.  Things should clear up this afternoon.

Trying to decide if I should start a new project or do something around the house but then getting lost in a book is sooo appealing . . .
