Wide Angle Wednesday: Jammin'

These lorry trailers had appeared mysteriously overnight all along the side of the park at the bottom of our road with this notice from the local District Council.

We wondered if the were to deter overnight parking on the way to the Glastonbury Festival but it seems there was an eviction of travellers from an illegal site in Shepton Mallet, who had previously set up camp here so it may be more likely to deter them from returning. Just a shame that a legal permanent site can't be found for them.

We'd cycled past on the way to do the shopping this morning, then had a swim I an even more crowded outdoor pool, followed by treating ourselves to lunch inthe local Wetherspoon's.

For the first time ever, Tess's Keep Fat session has been called off due to the heat.

This time last year, all the local roads were jammed when the muddy ground caused long delays in getting on to the Gladtonbury Festival site;
