Which came first, the hollowing out or the drying up? It's like saying, which came first, the chicken or the egg? 
The only  backyard birds not interested in the oranges are Cardinals and Pyrrhuloxia. Maybe they think their colors would clash.

I have a 90-minute trip to see my kidney doctor.  I leave in a few minutes.  I don't really want to go because it's not yet 11:00 and it's already 107°/42°.
