Longest (and hottest) day.

34 degrees in the garden today... and the thermometer is in the shade!

L and I went swimming this morning and spent the rest of the day in front of the fan. Napping was very hard for L this afternoon but she eventually managed a short one.

N ran out to the ice cream van as it went by at dinnertime tonight... perfect timing for our pudding!

I've got to go into central London tomorrow on the train and tube for a course. I hope it is at least a little bit cooler than today as I may well suffer horribly.
