Closed shutters against the heatwave

Back-blipping as I missed one day this month because of attending a Celebration of Life ceremony after the death of an old friend and neighbour. I didn't feel like putting up a photo that day.

These closed shutters tell the story of what we are all doing in these parts to protect ourselves from the heat.   This picture was taken in the old part of downtown where there are cobbled streets and houses full of character. I liked the touch of bright red of the geraniums against the worn green of the old shutters-
