J is for Jangye-ryn Cove
It was a beautiful day today so this afternoon we thought we'd go treking around some of the coastal path and incorporate a 'J' place into our walk so that we could do a bit more of our A - Z around the Cornish coastline challenge.
For those of you Blippers that would like to know a little bit more about 'Jangye-ryn Cove' - here is some interesting information for you:
'Jangye-ryn Cove' is often called 'Dollar Cove' due to the gold & silver coins that are occasionally unearthed from a Spanish galleon that was wrecked here in the 17th century. Also the rock formations are of special interest to geologists with the contorted strata of the low slate cliffs, representing thousands of years of tectonic movement.
Anyway we're not interested in stuff like that?! We just had a lovely afternoon out and I also did some swimming in the lovely turquoise sea.
