Evergreen

We haven't taken our friends dogs out for a walk for over a couple of months so we checked it was okay last night and picked them up this morning. A good walk for them in this heat is a six mile circular walk from Symonds Yat Rock which is all in the shade with streams, has a dog friendly cafe at the half way stage (with water hose) and The River Wye for a lot of the return stretch.

The sunlight through the forestry was fantastic and I took quite a few of the light on the forest floor and foliage. The one I like best is the leaves on a tree with the sun making a halo around them, exposing the inside of the leaves, and creating a pleasing bokeh. My wide angle entry - 'E' for evergreen!

On the return stretch we changed into our costumes and went for a swim with them. The blipfoto shows Mrs BB with Honey (4yrs). The older one, Bambi (12 years) won't go in the water as she had a scare as a pup and stays on the riverbank, barking!
