The longest day

When I decided against replacing the air con system in the car last year, little did I know that I would be driving 400 miles during the hottest heat wave in 40 years!

Luckily Lindsay had a plug-in-to-the-cigarette-lighter-fan that has been marvellous. Unluckily the 12 year old car battery decided to pack up at Worksop so it's been a long old journey to Durham involving rescue people and a detour to Halfords in Doncaster. Here now and all is fine. Wish us luck getting back tomorrow!
