End of work for a couple of weeks, and although we've had to cancel a trip to France, we are looking forward to two good weeks R&R

Drove to the village of Dacre, as I'd seen a low-level walk starting there and ending at the Horse and Farrier in the village. A really hot day (far too hot for the hills), so the low-level was sensible.  Sadly, when we got to the end of the walk, the pub had closed for the day, and wasn't re-opening until tomorrow! - Poor show for a Saturday night.

I did love the spelling on the lintel over the school door though!
