Photography First

A friend gave me her old bridge camera when mine was stolen - but as I can't download to my phone I haven't been using it for blip as don't have a laptop in the house. But she said Zion could use it. Today we took it out and he had his first lesson - and he loved it! Very quickly picked up how to get it on, lens cap off and taking pictures (though he's not 100% on checking the subject is still in the frame when he presses the button! - so there are a lot of pictures of people's legs rather than faces!) but he got some good ones too. He wandered around a lot of the day telling us to say cheese and then showing us what he's taken (he quickly learnt what he had to press to show people what he'd taken!).

In other news - great news about a good family friend having a successful operation - and it took an hour less than expected!
