Le Hair
by Mme Boussant
Mimi hasn't quite given up on her aspiration to become a leading hairstyle designer.
Since the raw material on Pepe's head is getting on the light side, she's moved onto a new victim.
Earlier, she went to Clara Lara (it means "do you understand what I just said, Lara?", in Oirish) for her school trip, not before having packed three bags (one for a change of clothes and sweets, one for her asthma paraphernalia and one of the mobile operating theater and field pharmacy Mrs Raheny insisted she take with her) and listened to 1,001 essential recommendations from an anxious mum.
She had a ball.
A well-deserved reward considering the superb school report we got for her (and Finnzy-Bob too!) yesterday in the post.
I am well trained to decipher small print, and read between the lines, and zero in on anything remotely bothersome in a document but there was strictly nothing in that report that wasn't 100% genuine praise for a hard-working, well-rounded, sensitive, cooperative, friendly, through and through 1st class student.
It's just us at home then that get the occasional episodes of the "mood".
But oh so rarely.
Once again, we are so very proud of you Mimi!
(and you Finn, superb school report too)
(and you Luca, until your e-report becomes available on Friday)
