Nothing gained! And really you could see success and failure as gains in this case! If these old fashioned fermented New York style dill pickles work, we will gain yummy pickles! If not, we will add them to the compost and grow cucumbers next year! :-) Oh I hope they make! No vinegar used. Just salt brine, herbs/spices, and time.
