Abstract in Nature

I still love lichen and find its various forms and colours so intriguing.  This one seems to have small craters which almost look 3 dimensional in the pic. A tenuous link to the challenge is the craters do make you feel you could look "inside", I guess. I know, it's a bit of a stretch!
