Midsummer

The meadow grasses and flowers are growing fast and the days continue to be so, so warm.
It was a difficult night and day for Piper (the dog) which meant a difficult time for us. A very short walk for her in the cooler evening temperatures seemed to lift her spirits and help her settle for a better night's sleep.
