Chillin' on Mote Lake

A day hijacked by Ofsted. We were really glad to see them, we've been expecting them for weeks. To the school and back a few times during the hottest day since 1976. What a time to be inspected! Some of the classrooms were over 35c. Mind you the lesson was about the Egyptians.

Time between trips to cut the grass and tidy up before the weekend visitor. Time at the end for a walk; still over 30c at 5.30pm. These people on the Lake have the right idea.

Still warm late in the evening when I was sitting outside annoying the neighbours practising the uke.
