In safe hands

*Title thanks to MartinDawe!

Today's been a strange day, waiting on news of my Mom who had a difficult operation today, but about 8pm we heard that all looks to have gone to plan! Feeling very relieved & grateful for the NHS.
Spent a good chunk of the morning waiting in the bank doing charity stuff, trying to keep Nate from getting too fed up.
After school (Asha had her school water fight today - even the teachers got properly involved...Asha delighted in telling us that Juan from yesterday's blip poured an entire bucket of water over her teacher's head) we went to the park with her two friends Isabel & Charlie. The blip is Charlie, who chose 2 of her cuddly toys to give to Nate.
Nate's spent the day being very grizzly and eating his hands off...he's so young, but it looks like teething...there can be quite a long run up til the teeth actually appear can't there?!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Lots of people praying for Mom today.
2) Getting lots of little things done - including the sofa cushion covers cleaned.
3) Bumping into our neighbour and having a good chat with her.
