River Cart

The river Cart meanders through the south side of Glasgow. The water level can rise suddenly and has in the past, caused a great deal of damage to properties. Thankfully a flood prevention scheme is now in place and the river walls have been strengthened. However, it looks as though the cricket pitch has been retained as a flood plain.
