Six-spot Burnet
The Six-spot Burnet (Zygaena filipendulae) is not uncommon but it was interesting to see them on different foodplants.
Our walk took us from Seton Collegiate towards the coast, along the sands and up Longniddry Burn, none of which had we walked before, then back along the busy A198 dual carriageway, where these moths were seen.
