Waiting

An early alarm call at 5.30 to take R to Worksop Hospital for planned surgery.

I saw her on return from theatre at 3pm, looking very tired, sore and uncomfortable, but pleased that it is all over. I hope she gets a good nights sleep.

Having driven or sat all day it was good to get out for a walk with the girls when we got home.
