Axminster Minster Church

There has been a church on this spot since the 12th century. . The present one is a grade 2* listed building and is the oldest surviving building in the town.  It requires about £12 an hour to keep it open and to help meet the cost of this, each year, it runs a series of half hour lunchtimes concerts ranging  from Jazz bands to Chamber Choirs. There is no fee but donations are requested and the church is always full for them
