Leevi and his friends returned from Lapland today! Their hike was very successful, although it was quite cold and rainy, and there were still snow in places. In Lapland, above Polar circle the sun doesn't set at all in the summer - Leevi showed us photos that were taken at 1:30 a.m. and it was just like at noon. We also admired great open landscapes and very clear rivers in his photos.

I visited the Art Gallery Saskiat in the afternoon. Niina was working there as a volunteer officer today, and she invited us to visit the exhibition and to celebrate birth of her first grandson. In the exhibition there are also Mari-Kaarina's (in the background) and Kirsti's works. Then I hurried to meet hubby, we had a massive midsummer grocery shopping tour.

Very nice to have both children at home!
