An Oasis

Unbearably hot and humid today. Almost melted on a photo recce in the Maze this afternoon. My colleagues working outdoors in the grounds and gardens are really suffering.

This dark patch of trees looked like a cool Oasis as I walked back to my car this evening. The squirrels were enjoying it! I sat in the dark of my sitting room with the blind closed when I got home and just exhaled! Hoping the heat will relent soon.
