Boys State Army

While peacefully relaxing during lunch hour on the campus of Willamette University a group of orderly boys trooped by waving flags. I approached close enough to see that their green and orange shirts said boys state on them and later figured out that this was a function of the American Legion. It was a little creepy. Why must we make our boys into soldiers?
