No more trees

Surrounding my little "village" were some beautiful gum trees.A couple of weeks ago a row was taken from beside the carpark. The paper said a "safety" issue. This morning the rest which were on an island in a roundabout were being removed. I guess the authoritories still have "safety" issues. Very sad day. They were beautiful stately trees.
