Very humbling....

We had the joy and privilege of having a Haitian paralympian in church this morning. Leon lost his home, his wife and 8 children in the earthquake nearly two years ago. Carwyn, on the left , had set up the Haiti Hospital Appeal two years before the disaster and was asked to take Leon and other men who had suffered similar tragedy, into the new spinal injuries unit recently opened at the hospital. A rehabilitation program began.

Two days before the opening ceremony, Leon was invited to come to London 2012. He took part in the cycle race at Brands Hatch and came last, but is a wonderful example of how God can heal and provide the right help at the right time.

A longer blip today because it is a story so worth telling.
