Woke up to sun shine, with a fab sea view from the bedroom windows. After breakfast we headed off for a walk from Ryde to Bembridge. We took our swim things so we swam at three different beaches. Each rather lovely. This is the first holiday I have had for 18 years that hasn't been during the school holidays, and it is great how peaceful and spacious the beaches are.
It was a long walk around the harbour at Bembridge, but great to swim at the first beach afterwards, and it was so warm, we sat in the sea and ate crisps. (our only food supply). We ate Dinner at Michelangelo in Ryde (great pizzas), then walked along the pier as the sun set.
