Hello Blipfriends!
Dolly here today!
Mum wanted to name this blip 'Trying To Stay Warm' in contrast to yesterday's blip 'Trying To Stay Cool'. What a difference a day made! The temperature has gone right down and me and Mum are very happy about that!! Mum was even chilly on our walks and in the evening had to put on a warm layer to be able to sit outside. I got wrapped in a blanket!
Anyway - I had a long lie-in this morning and Mum finally had to pull me out of bed at 11am! Rude! Before I knew it we were BACK at the V.E.T. and I was being poked and prodded by Dr Kate! The good news is, that she is very happy with my recovery and my gums are healing nicely from my 7-tooth (!!) extraction on Monday! She even gave me some soft treats! Yay! And I had my bandage taken off from where my 2 moles were removed. It looks kind of scary underneath. We've spared you the sight of it in these pictures!
After we left we went for a short walk. I was still sleepy and it was still a little warm for me, but I met some nice dogs and that always makes me happy. (The two on the left)
Mum was busy all afternoon and I snoozed and after dinner - which we ate outside since it no longer felt like an oven - I insisted on ANOTHER walk! This one was easier for me. It was cooler and I'm feeling better all the time. I was also excited to meet two other dogs. Tess, top right, is our neighbour and she's only 10 months old and super bouncy. Then I met a LION!! Mum said he wasn't really a lion but he almost LOOKS like one, don't you think? I loved him! I love ALL big dogs, but I think he's the biggest one I've ever seen! He was very gentle and friendly. Mum says he is a Bernese Mountain dog. From Switzerland. I hope we meet again!
