Buttercups
Out for a wander in the sunshine this afternoon and came upon this lovely summery scene of cows reclining in a field full of buttercups. I vaguely remembered being told as a child that eating buttercups made the butter lovely and yellow, so out of curiosity I made some enquiries and found out two important safety tips:
A) these are bullocks not cows
B) buttercup flowers are very bitter and they can greatly upset livestock's digestive system, although they do make a lovely cool bed for lying on.
You live, you learn!
