Flower power

This little rose may not look very special. It had a sad start to life in fact when I knocked it's shoot off the bush a good week ago, while I was weeding.
I brought it in though, trimmed it and put it in water in the hope it might flower. I was looking at it yesterday and wondering whether I should keep it or not when, to my amazement. it unfurled from its bud into a flower in front of my eyes.
If I didn't know me better I would say I had drink taken, but I hadn't. I have never, in my entire life seen a flower open in front of my eyes before. I always assumed it was a very slow process.
It is fully open now and to most people will not look special but to me it is absolutely unique!
