Tommy at Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Utrecht

Copy and paste from Facebook:
Hi all, first of all… I still am not very active on FB for some reasons.. but ofcourse I want to update about our visit to Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Utrecht. The reason was this: https://www.facebook.com/ellen.uittenbogaard/posts/10207518186353316
His beaky looks back to normal again, so I have to start again from this moment to file it a few times per week.
About his difficulties to poop. Poop still looked normal, only a few bacteries in it which is quite normal, but earlier tests gave the same bacteries so we have to keep an eye on that (coccen bacterie).
Than they did several tests on the cloaca and inside. That didn’t look abnormal, so they suggested to do a cloacoscopy and Tommy had an anesthesia for this (ofcourse I had to wait in the waiting room). They didn’t find abnormalities either, but what they did notice is that Tommy’s outside sphincter looks quite weak. Could be caused by a defect nerve or so. Or it can becaused by back issues. I now have to give him laxatract twice per day 0.15 – 0.25 ml. This can help Tommy’s poop that it is more smooth and hopefully it will help him to poop better, more normal. If this doesn’t give any changes, we are thinking about a CT-scan.
Tommy did VERY well. Even dr Nico Schoemaker commented that he is so well behaved.. he he.
