Arts week day 4

And final day.

I just love some of the art pieces the kids have done.
Seemingly my activity was the most popular with the kids! :D
I think it's just because I told them that I wanted them just to enjoy exploring and that they wouldn't hear me say 'no' unless they were being utterly irresponsible by throwing paint all over the classroom. The other day I had a yr6 boy pouring paint on his paper and just spending ages stirring it round and round and adding more and more paint. Until finally he decided he wanted to start something new. Today one of the girls enjoyed enthusiastically splashing paint onto her picture. I considered a couple of times asking her to use smaller splashes being that the ceiling, windows, doors, floor and people were also being covered in it ........ but ........ I couldn't bring myself to cause she was enjoying herself too much. And inspiring others to follow suit.

The extra (first time ever! Just couldn't resist including it!) is titled 'Incidental Art' for obvious reasons!!!!!

Will need to clean some more on Monday!

Dinner at 'The Two Sisters' with Cathie, Marianne and Helen.
