off we go!

We left Marseille at 9am and arrived in Nice with enough time to park and get through check-in. The flight went perfectly - Marius cried for the first 5 minutes and I wondered what on earth we were doing taking him on a flight at such a young age! Then he promptly fell asleep and woke up all smiles :)

We picked up our hire car at Aldergrove and drove to mum's new wee house in Ahoghill. It's a brand new, beautiful, well-situated house that feels really homely and cosy. Our first meal was Chinese food that mum ordered online - delicious!!
