Silver ferns

We were up at Sequoia Grove with George this afternoon, and the light was amazing.

George had the time of his life trotting hither and thither, and behaving perfectly.  It helps that this is a very quiet place, but he showed no signs of running off.  I am really pleased with the way he is settling in, and I think we were right not to get a small puppy.  Although why his first owners couldn't handle him is beyond belief - he's such a gentleman.

Anyway - this light!!  It was so lovely, almost misty, it turned the bracken from green to silver, and this image almost captures it, but not quite.
