Constant wet

Thank you to everyone who looked at, faved and commented on my 2000th Blip yesterday - it shows what a wonderful community we all belong to.

Really grim day today weather-wise. Went to Carlisle hospital with Deb, who had a follow up appointment with the consultant following her op. Progress is much slower than he had hoped, and she's really got to take it easy for a few months to let the wound heal properly. Not easy with our line of work! So I'll be on breakfast duty and helping with the dinners on the non-escorted days.

We spent a couple of hours looking round the shops in Carlisle before driving home in the rain. This forest was at the side of Bassenthwaite Lake - the rain was unremitting.
