Tower

This mediaeval tower (11th century) in the centre of the old part of Lenno is almost obscured by the other buildings of the village and the narrow streets only a few feet wide. It is almost impossible to get a clear view of the tower, part of which has been absorbed into much later habitations.

Our visit draws to a close tomorrow, so today will be our last visit to the Lake for a few weeks until we return later in the summer. Next time we will arrive on a Sunday, so we made a quick visit to the supermarket to lay in some provisions for our return.
