Over my shoulder

My boy scout moment

Work on a Saturday is not the best, but it was necessary and it got me out of bed early and the hours passed by quickly.

Once home, I looked up mine and my mate's stars for the day. It's become a bit of a ritual when we are planning a night out.

Today my mate's were "It's a key time for you to find the true love of your life and your friends will be amazed to see you together", mine - somewhat less exciting were "my fav neighbour makes the introductions to love". We were undecided on whether we would go out and settled on leaving the decision til the evening.

That sorted, I set about my chores. I had a living room full of washing and a kitchen full of washing up to do, I so need to learn to do things as I go along rather than wait til I either have nothing left to wear or nothing left to cook with or eat off of.

So washing up and washing ongoing and whilst following the Liverpool match on the radio I decided to be prepared for a possible night out. Not wanting to buy a packet of fags I set up a production line of rollies - quite therapeutic really.

In the end we decided against the night, which was just as well really as a busy day planned for tomorrow and hangover would not have been a good idea. So it was Match of the Day with a glass of wine for me.
