Had to be done sometime and the chance was too good to miss and there were a couple of better examples posted the other day and best do it when I'm not in the middle of nowhere in case it stings me to test my allergic reactions.

An hymenopterid which started supping the flowers round my knees early this afternoon when I popped into the garden to get some pictures of sunny flowers. Seemed a little more appropriate to a nice sunny Saturday than that. So nice and warm today that it was possible to sit on a bench in the meadows watching peoples go past without Nicky getting too cold.

I shall extend later. Off to cinéma.
