Armed Forces Day, Scarborough

Sunny with intermittent cloud.

A trip to enjoy armed Forces Day.    On the way to the Foreshore the RAF Falcons Parachute Display team landed on the beach front I(see extra) to start the day off.   We managed to get a good vantage point above the stage.   The Yorkshire Volunteers Band marched in  (main picture) and there followed a field gun dismantling race by the Scarborough Sea Cadets - a great organisations form the youngsters to join.

A hurricane bomber and the Red Arrows flew over.   Very well attended and enjoyed by all.
