'Chawton Woodwalk'

Right outside Jane Austen's House (museum) is this sculptured bench designed and painted by artist Caroline Fairbairn.  It is shaped like an open book but, sorry, that is a bit difficult to tell from my photograph.
There are 24 different benches in and around Basingstoke to celebrate Jane's life and they will be auctioned off for charity, eventually.
